Copyright Stuff

We initially encoded all of our shows with a full, traditional copyright. We did this somewhat out of habit, but also because we had dreams for Beach Walks. We love doing it, and we would love to figure out if there is a way it can support us. (NOTE: This was WAY BEFORE the concept of monetization!)

We have since decided to apply Creative Commons License: Share Alike, Attribution, Non-commercial. That means you can replay it as long as you attribute a link back to us, as long as it is for non-commercial use only, and any re-distributing must carry this identical license with it. We want people who feel inspired to be able to sample from our work for their creative expression. And if you want to collaborate, that’s very cool too!

Please email us at “beachwalks at gmail dot com” to keep this conversation going or if you have ways you would like to use our shoes that are outside of our license. Please keep in mind that if you aggregate our feed and re-publish it on your servers or in your own proprietary player, that is a violation of our copyright and is not permitted without prior permission. If you aggregate our feed and wrap ads around our content without compensating us, that is also a violation of our copyright license. Any violations of our licensing are liable and subject to penalties.
