The main street gets closed, and all sorts of artists, musicians, environmentalists, entertainers, and food vendors show up with one goal in mind: Keep it Kailua. We have no hotels here, though lots of day tourists and plenty of bed and breakfasts and vacation rentals (both legal and illegal).
