Beach Walk 330 - Happy Hour Helps
Secret Cameraman and I have started stopping work at 5:30 to talk over the day and prepare dinner together. It’s had a profound impact on our energy levels.
Beach Walk 317 - Routine in the Flow
Ze Frank inspired me today; maneuvering between being in the flow with keeping a routine.
Beach Walk 313 - We are safe
I’ve made a number of career changes in my life. That has meant learning how safe I am and that I am not required to meet other people’s expectations.
Beach Walk 300 - Another Milestone
Milestones are wonderful gathering points for energy but they can also bring unwanted pressure when the resources to make a happy fuss just aren’t there.
Beach Walk 299 - Your Input Please
We’re planning to take some time off work and do some actual planning for Beach Walks! We’d love your input.
Beach Walk 295 - Unintended Benefits

CDW – Cool deserted wonderland and an interview with Bruce Delahorne, Senior Manager, National Advertising for CDW on the beach today.

OK. So I am a slow learner. Seems a lot of others who watch BW know how to put themselves first. (See the poll results.)

Beach Walk 251 - It's Raining, It's Pouring, or Not
20 plus hours of rain and it’s pouring clichés!
Beach Walk 248 - Give without Guilt
I was listening to the Gilmore Gang podcast yesterday, as Jason Calacanis talked about a new video podcast he is starting with Podtech. He has negotiated with his sponsors (and plans to do the same with his guests) to donate money from every episode to a private school in NY, to pay the way for foster kids in Brooklyn to attend.
Beach Walk 246 - Passionate and not Invested
Being passionate about something yet detached from the results is a real “zen” thing to accomplish, yet I tackle these sorts of goals every day! Mark Brown and Spencer Chang were doing plein air painting on the beach today. Spencer is the student, Marc is the instructor. Marc is very happy to be making a living at painting, and he shares his tips with us on how he made the transition to doing what he loves.
